Advantages: Fantastic family game; electronic gameplay makes it easier Disadvantages: Not enough houses & hotels
INTRODUCTION
I absolutely love Monopoly and had always played the game with the paper notes (the traditional way!) and had owned the game for years. A year or so ago, a cousin of mine bought a newer edition of the game, with an electronic digital banking device and credit cards rather than the paper notes, and I absolutely loved playing it this much easier way. But I had forgotten about it until my girlfriend and I spotted 'Monopoly - Here & Now: The World Edition' in our local TESCO supermarket, at an introductory price of around £25. We both enjoyed playing the traditional Monopoly, but when I told her how good the electronic version was, she was excited about trying it, so I bought it and we took it home to play straight away.
HOW IS IT DIFFERENT TO THE ORIGINAL MONOPOLY?
Well, for a start, HASBRO ...
Advantages: A couple of classic tracks Disadvantages: Every song over-produced and most substandard self-parodies
In the middle of the 1990s Oasis brought us two of the most outstanding albums in the history of popular music. Then they released 'Be HereNow'. Few bands have fallen from grace quite so quickly in terms of quality. This album was recorded with almost exactly the4 same line-up and back room staff employed in the making of the excellent '(What's The Story) Morning Glory?)'. It is longer, with more guitars, more stings, more production, but zit really is terrible in places. Most of the songs are unlistenable due to over-production by Owen Morris or just because they're bad songs in the first place.
Oasis themselves now know the reasons why this album is so s**t. People heaping praise on them, the exotic lifestyle, not to mention the drugs. It was the ultimate Rock 'n' Roll excess that led to this LP. The government should play young ...
Advantages: everything, its amazing Disadvantages: Johnny Depp on track 7
In 1997 Oasis returned with this "Be herenow", an album that was universally slated, for being too much, too big, and too soon.
For me its my favourite Oasis album, its different, and i love that its so big. The album opens with D'you know what i mean, a cracking song with big guitar solos loads of effects and a typically catchy oasis chorus.
Track two really hits you, "my big mouth", it opens with a loud kick in the face and just doesn't stop hitting you, its load and its big, and you cant help but shout it at the top of your lungs.
"magic pie" is a lot slower a sung by Noel, and its daft, its long, the chorus ids ridiculous (You see me i got my magic pie) but its brilliant, a firm favourite on the album.
"Stand by me" is nest, one of the singles, and that intro, you know it from a mile off, love it.
"i hope i think i know ...
