This soundtrack album is based on the tv show Heroes. After the great success of Heroes, their first soundtrack album was realease on the 18th of March 2008.

I would recommend this album to Heroes fans and also anybody who likes artists such as Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Iggy Pop and the Chemical Brothers. Theres a wide range of artists on this album some you will of herd of some you wont, however even though you have a large variety of artists with different genres of music, the feel of the music all fits together perfectly.

Track Listings
1. Heroes Title - Wendy & Lisa
2. Fire and Regeneration - Wendy & Lisa
3. He's Frank - Brighton Port Authority featuring Iggy Pop
4. All For Swinging You Around - New Pornographers
5. Glad It's Over - Wilco
6. Weightless - Nada Surf
7. Nine In The Afternoon - Panic! At The Disco
8. Chills - My Morning Jacket
9. Natural Selection - Wendy & Lisa
10. ABoneCroneDrone 3 - Shelia Chandra
11. Not Now But Soon - Imogen Heap
12. Jealously Rides With Me - Death Cab For Cutie
13. All Things Must Pass - The Jesus and Mary Chain
14. Homecoming - Wendy & Lisa
15. Man In The Long Black Coat - Bob Dylan
16. Maya's Theme - Yerba Buena
17. Keeping My Composure - The Chemical Brothers featuring Spank Rock
18. Heroes - David Bowie

The only songs that the soundtrack album does not cotain from the tv show are from season 1;-
  • Eyes by Rogue Wave, which was featured in the first and fourth episode.
  • Ooh La La by Goldfrapp, which was featured in episode 20.
    from season 2;-
  • Boyz by M.I.A., which was featured in episode 5 of season 2.
  • We Interrupt This Programme by Coburn, which was featured in the 8th episode of season 2.

While I liked alot of the music on the album, the reason I bought it was because I am a big fan of Heroes, If you are also a big fan of Heroes you will be able to link most of the music to main events in the tv show which is a rarity with soundtrack albums.

My favourite songs on the album are the songs created by Wend and LisaThe songs are all instrumental songs, they created the soundtrack for Heroes and the music that they created for this album is very beautiful.

I think the album is reasonalbly priced, its got a good variety of songs included in the tracklist and all of the main songs are on there too. You can get the album from Amazon for £9.48 with free delivery or from Play.com for £11.99 with free delivery too.

This album is really just easy listening, one of those albums you can add to your ipod just let it play all the way through. Try it out !
