...Whenever I am in a really lousy mood or have just suffered a bad day I put Sam Cooke: The Man and His Music into my CD player and let this gifted and truly remarkable singer/songwriter have his melodic way with me. Sam Cooke was trully one of the leading and groundbreaking artists in the music industry. It is his music that leaves the most impression, however, truly proving that music, its construction from being written to being sung, is one of the most divine artforms on this sad little planet. Sam Cooke was nothing less than a genius. Not only did he create the difinitive versions of any song he wrote but also turned his gift to the works of others, making them his own. ...I've never been a good cook but after my friend let me have a go on her Cooking Mama game I had to buy it for myself! Basically, you have to make a dish and at the end you get a grade from cooking mama, depending on how well you make the dish. The grades are Gold, Silver & Bronze with Gold being the best, Bronze the Worst. Cooking Mama is similar to games such as Wario Ware because of the fact you will be given a short amount of time to complete simple actions which can be anything in Cooking Mama such as slicing, mixing, pressing food , grating & even pouring! All these actions are done with the Stylus by swiping, tapping, or scribbling on the DS screen. ...Cooking Mama on the Nintendo DS. Now being a profession Chef i was worried to start with about what this game would actually teach about cooking, as with many other games i have played myself which are centered around cooking they have no actuall basis on cooking, but this game was different i found it a joy to play with my younger sister and found she was intrested in cooking many of the different dish's which were featured in the actual game. it is very user friendly which allows users of all ages to play easily. the game is slightly repetitive which causes users to lose intrest in certian aspects of the game. but overall i found this game a joy to play and a very good buy....
