Advantages: More great music for lovers of the band Disadvantages: Could have had more songs
...As a fan of From First to Last the wait for this album was something that I had to listen to as soon as I could, after hearing a previous album (Dear Diary, My Teenage Angst Has A Body Count) and falling in love with it I hoped that Heroine could do the same although as it often goes I was ready to be disappointed. But I was wrong to think that. Time it seems has just made this group of guys that much better.
This album seems more varied than other albums but it seems to give them an edge and makes it even more addicting as an album. Songs such as The Levy, Mothersound and Heroine seem to have a more advanced sound than ive heard from From First To Last.
There is also songs such as Waves Goodbye and Waltz Moore which seem to have a completly different but still amazing in its own way and also seem to have a very personal touch...

Advantages: Honest lyrics and some truly amazing guitar work from Rhoads Disadvantages: Some weak tracks and w/o Rhoads would probably be two stars
...a kind of kick in the arse and began to pull him back into reality.
Both of Ozzy Osbournes first two albums, 'Blizzard of Ozz' and 'Diary of a Madman', were recorded together yet released a year apart. 'Blizzard' in 1880 and 'Diary' in 1981.

1 - Over the Mountain
2 - Flying High Again
3 - You can't Kill Rock'n'Roll
4 - Believer

6 - Tonight
7 - SATO
8 - Diary of a Madman

Advantages: Some of the tracks are quite good Disadvantages: Lots of mediocrity, a few very bad tracks

Truth be told, it is a fairly patchy album. The worst parts of the album would be the starting point, as there are only really two. "Streets of New York" featuring Nas and Rakim is a brief, slightly bland hip-hop track that is saved only by it's protagonists voice. Unfortunately, the soul-artist-doing-hip-hop thing is played better by people like Angie Stone who did a fantastic rap bonus track on her latest album (which was romping good fun). In comparison, Keys seems to fall kinda short here.
The other downfall is "So Simple" for it's abysmal chipmunk-through-a-vocoder sound that has been created when some sound...
