...He was born in 1913 and died of a heartattack in 1988. Well, I have been listen to Roy Orbison for many years, and I just want to tell others that he is just the best. the Danish colllection my mom send me, is simply the best. I think that you can hear him anywhere, and that his voice is just great. When my daddy died of cancer, I was listening to Roy Orbison, some of his songs just got me hanging in there,especially the song" In Dreams " Everyday when I drove home from the hospital crying, I was listening to him, and it maked me wanna go on, maybe it was just, because I needed something, but anyhow, his music is just great and lovely. ...While most people think that Queen was just Freddie Mercury, dedicated fans know different. Queen had many number ones in the UK, but did you know that each of the 4 members managed to write a top 10 hit? Freddie Mercury wrote Bohemian Rhapsody, Brian May wrote We Will Rock You, John Deacon wrote Another One Bites the Dust and Roger Taylor came up with Radio Ga Ga, Heaven for Everyone and A Kind Of Magic to name but a few. Roger was by far the best looking of the group, but he was never the stereotypical Neanderthal drummer, having picked up a degree in dentistry while practising his drumming skills. Roger was also the most prolific band member outside of Queen, having penned 4 solo albums and 3 with his other group, The Cross, who he formed after Queen stopped touring in 1986. Advantages: An incredibly distinctive female vocalist
Disadvantages: Some feel this album is a little over-produced

...Patti smith is a writer, poet, painter, performance artist and singer, and 'gung ho, released in 2000, is her third album since she returned from a temporary retirement. She is best remembered for her first album, 'Horses', which was released in 1975 and gave her a prominent position as a founder of punk, and has influenced many other performers. (Including my favourite band R.E.M.) Although her first album was released under the name of the Patti Smith Group, 'gung ho' is released under Patti's name only, but reunites many of the performers who helped make 'Horses' such a seminal work. It's probably best to mention something before I go any further.
