...I bought this CD last year because I always liked the Steve Wright show, and was pleased when I saw this album for sale. The album has a few classic songs on it that i love listening to. There is a good mix of music on this CD which all of the family can enjoy. The oldest songs are classics and the young members of the family have heard them. This is a great CD that has been enjoyed by my whole family. Steve Wright was voted the nation's most popular DJ by readers of Smash Hits magazine in a 1994 poll. Steve Wright first worked for several departments in the BBC including the record library during the mid-1970's. In 1976 he moved to Reading's Thames Valley Radio initially making trails and jingles and later presented his own show. He also worked at Radio Atlantis (Belgium) and Radio Luxembourg (RTL) in 1979. Advantages: Brilliant energy, Top songs, Only their first album

...This is the great debut album from the Boston boys. This is great rock n roll music and great set-up. Although there are definitely some weak songs, there are also some very strong ones. I don't think that this album is quite what American Hi-Fi describe it as themselves, but it is definitely a good buy. It kind of sounds like the Foo Fighters would have done if Dave Grohl hadn't been in Nirvana. It's lacking something, but I'm sure this could be easily cured by experience. Advantages: Its quality, and her vocals are amazing.
Disadvantages: Too ballad laden!

...Terri Walker had a few singles and an album out about a year and a half again but sadly she wasnt recognised to her full potential. Now she's back and here's why in a market that drops you if you dont make number 10! THIS IS MY TIME Jazzy trumpets and sax open this with a retro beat in the background. This song has summer stamped all over it! Her vocals are strong and the message is positive "this is my time to whole the world in my hands". It reminds me of Brand New Heavies and Beverley Knight if they collaberated. Very funky. 4/5 L.O.V.E Title track is chilled but not a ballad, this is more loungy R&B the vocals are paced faster than the actual song itself and the combination works.
