Hidden Conversations - Terry Callier

...I am a little loathed to review this album, because it is the best album I have ever owned, and I am a bit selfish and it is so good that I really don't want to share it! I know that old Tezza is making a come back as he has recently recorded a track with Massive Attack, has just completed a tour of the UK and will be back for another one in July (oh and will be playing at the O2 festival as well), but this album is a true gem and not many English Callier fans know about it. Advantages: Good chase scenes
Disadvantages: Lackluster ending

...The Hidden is a rather obscure 1980's sci-fi/action film, starring Michael Nouri and Kyle MacLachlan, of "Twin Peaks" and "Showgirls" fame. Here he plays Lloyd Gallagher, an FBI agent who arrives in the city and is immediately paired up with Tom Beck (Michael Nouri) to tackle a bizarre event that seems to be happening. Normal, everyday people who no connection have all seemingly turned into psychopathic monsters, killing anyone who gets in their way. It turns out they do have a connection, in that they all become inhabited by an alien with a penchant for violence and Ferraris. Will Beck and Gallagher be able to stop the alien before yet more lives are lost? I bought this because of a recommendation on a forum I visit. Advantages: dry quickly, cheaper than shaped or all in one nappies, other uses after nappy time
Disadvantages: bulkier than other types, needs a wrap

...I have already written an op on my Kooshies nappies, and there explained the saga of our switch to cloth. One day though, I was moaning to a clothie friend about how all my cloth Kooshies were damp still as I have no drier and bimbo me had neglected to bring them in before a torrential downpour. Cue DD deciding to have one of those days where she was wet all day as well, and guess what, I ran out of nappies! LOL. She came to my rescue with some terries. These are the traditional terry rectangles, but you no longer have to do fancy folds and pins if you do not wish to. You can simply fold into thirds, pop into a water resistant air bratheable wrap, pop in a liner and velcro onto baby! Woohoo! Terry is a very soft and absorbent material, but you already know this as you yourselves no doubt use terry towels upon exiting the bath... Read review
