It is hard to believe that American singer, JoJo (Joanna Levesque) is only 16 years old, her voice is very mature for her age; her music is also very grown up. She has a r'n'b and pop sound, this 2nd album from JoJo is full of catchy r'n'b tunes and some strong ballads which really show off her voice.

The Way You Do Me - I wasn't too keen on this song at first, but after a few plays it was stuck in my head. It reminds me of 'Crazy In Love' by Beyonce. It has a very r'n'b beat to it and it makes you want to get up and dance.

Anything - This is the second single to be taken from the album. The song starts of with a short sample of 'Africa' by Toto. The song itself is very catchy, I can definitely see why it is a single.

This Time - Not one of the best songs on the album, but it has a catchy beat to it, another song that is good to dance to.

Too Little Too Late - Definitely one of the best songs on the album. This was the first single from the album, and chances are you will have heard it as it has had a lot of airplay in the UK. It is a strong r'n'b song with a really infectious chorus.

Let It Rain - This isn't one of the strongest songs on the album but I like it all the same, it's quite a relaxing song that is easy to listen to.

The High Road - This is the title track of the album, and I love it! The lyrics are brilliant and I like the meaning of the song, it's about how you should still have faith and remain strong even if things get tough for you, 'This pain that I feel, I will overcome, I know somewhere deep down inside it's the pain that makes us strong'.

Like That - I'm not really keen on this song, it doesn't really stand out and it's weak compared the other songs on the album. The song is quite repetitive and gets boring by the end.

Good Ol' - This is another of myy favourites on the album, although it's not too strong it has a nice rhythm to it and the song keeps getting stuck in my head.

Coming For You - This is another really strong song on the album and I wouldn't be surprised if it was released as a single as it's commercial.

Exceptional - This is the first ballad on the album, and I really love it. The lyrics are really great, 'You never think you measure up, never smart or cool, or pretty enough, always feeling different from all the rest, you feel so out of place, you think you don't fit in' it's about how you shouldn't change for anyone just to fit in and that everyone is 'exceptional' in their own way.

How To Touch A Girl - This is the second ballad, I also love this song...it reminds me of another song but I can't think what it is! It has a strong chorus and again it has nice lyrics about how you can make a girl feel special, 'Do you know How to Touch a Girl? If you want me so much, first I have to know: Are you thoughtful and kind? Do you care what's on my mind? Or am I just for show?'

Note To God - This is another ballad, it's probably not as strong as the previous two songs though. I like the meaning of the song, if you could write a note to god, what would you say?
'If I wrote a note to God, I would speak whats in my soul, I’d ask for all the hate to be swept away, for love to overflow, If I wrote a note to God I’d pour my heart out on each page', JoJo's voice really shines on this song and you can tell that she is singing with emotion throughout the whole song.

------------------------UK *BONUS* TRACKS--------------------------------

Do Watcha Gotta Do - This is quite a weak song although I quite like the beat to it, its another ballad although my least favourite of all of them on the album. It does have a nice relaxing feel to it though and again it is easy to listen to.

I Can Take You There - This song is a bit boring and probably one of my least favourites on the album. It is quite mellow and laid back.

Leave (Get Out) - This was JoJo's debut single from three years ago when she was only 13 years old. I really love this song, it's very catchy and chances are you will probably remember it as it was very popular at the time. Her voice has matured since this song.

Overall I really like this album, there are a few weak songs but then are some really great strong tunes on this album that make up for that. JoJo has an amazing voice for a 16 year old that's for sure. I'd definitely recommend this album to anyone who loves r'n'b and pop music
