...The high school musical 2 soundtrack is good not excellent i would say. it is perfect for those who like pop music. EXTRAS the album includes the humu humu song which isnt in the film but the name is mentioned its an ok song but i can see why they didnt put it in the film . My personal veiw. i rate this album(soundtrack)good because there are the odd songs that gets on my nerves and thats you are the music in me by sharpay and i dont dance by chad and ryan. my favourite songs are work this out by the cast gotta go my own way by gabriella and troy you are the music in me by gabriella troy and kelsie(first line) everyday by the cast and mainly gabriella and troy. i recommend this product to youngsters around the age of 6 - 13 and also check out the film to if you like the soundtrack.... ...I love high school musical I was soo happy words cant explain it when I first saw it. I liked all the characters my favourite was Troy becuase hes so fine :P The movie is a disney movie obviously because it is rather cheesy but this movie is better than all the other ones because its so original and the songs are fabulous. his is what happens at the start: Troy (Zac Efron) and Gabriella (Vanessa Anne Hudgens) are with their parents at a ski resort for the New Years Eve holiday. While going to the party, they are forced together for karaoke and discover that they sing beautifully together. They both go their different ways but then Gabriella transfers into Troy's high school and are reunited by Zac using his phone to call Gabriella. Advantages: For anyone who loves Disney and High School Musical
Disadvantages: Not for people who hate cheesy pop

...The High School Musical 2 soundtrack is perfect for those who are a fan of Disney Films and especially fans of the High School Musical songs. The genre of the CD is definately verging on cheesy pop so, if your into music that isn't for the young and innocent minded then this isn't for you. However if you are into your pop music than i would suggest giving this CD a try or at least watch the movie as all the song a fully featured apart from Humuhumunukunukuapua'a (if you can learn how to say it without becoming touch tied its a bonus) which only appears on the CD as a Bonus Track. If you also buy the DVD it isn't in the main film but appears on the special features. Overall High School Musical 2 soundtrack is perfect for those singalong days.... Read review
