High School Musical II - Various Artists

Film that's a modern day Grease!! Very upbeat and peppy. Troy and Gabriella are back and it's Summer Vacation. Them and the rest of the Wildcats have to work for the Summer so they can afford college. And where do they go, none other than Sharpay's country club. Funny film with lots of twists and Sharpay is back as her evil, bitchy self, but true love wins out in the end and Sharpay is taught a very valuable lesson about friendship. Would recommend to all who love a good love story.

Advantages: some really good songs perfect for young children
Disadvantages: some songs you might not like that could spoil it

The high school musical 2 soundtrack is good not excellent i would say. it is perfect for those who like pop music. EXTRAS the album includes the humu humu song which isnt in the film but the name is mentioned its an ok song but i can see why they didnt put it in the film . My personal veiw. i rate this album(soundtrack)good because there are the odd songs that gets on my nerves and thats you are the music in me by sharpay and i dont dance by ...
...by the cast gotta go my own way by gabriella and troy you are the music in me by gabriella troy and kelsie(first line) everyday by the cast and mainly gabriella and troy. i recommend this product to youngsters around the age of 6 - 13 and also check out the film to if you like the soundtrack. ... In my opinion, this soundtrack is pretty amusing. I liked both of the movies along with their songs, so I enjoyed it. If you don't like disney movies and their songs, this movie is not for you. But I would say to buy this soundtrack because it's fun to sing along too.

Advantages: For anyone who loves Disney and High School Musical
Disadvantages: Not for people who hate cheesy pop

The High School Musical 2 soundtrack is perfect for those who are a fan of Disney Films and especially fans of the High School Musical songs. The genre of the CD is definately verging on cheesy pop so, if your into music that isn't for the young and innocent minded then this isn't for you. ...the first of the films, High School Musical, the original, the songs were very good and had the beat and rhythm that made you want to get up and dance but these appear at first glance to have been rushed through with not much time thinking through it. In one of the songs that Shapay sings when all "the gang" turn up at her resort; the song has no melody!
