I completely disagree with the previous person who rated this four stars! I despised these tracks. The lyrics are very boring and the singing isn't brilliant either. Don't get me wrong; in the first of the films, High School Musical, the original, the songs were very good and had the beat and rhythm that made you want to get up and dance but these appear at first glance to have been rushed through with not much time thinking through it. In one of the songs that Shapay sings when all "the gang" turn up at her resort; the song has no melody! It is a very boring, bland song which has an abnormal ryhthm which changes midpoint in the song ineffectively. Hoever, this CD is not a complete failure as a few of the songs are very pleasing to the ear and I would buy if they were released separately but personally, I would not but this product. I just thought that I'd express my opinion on this one as it's a truthful, kids response to the CD.
