I think that the movie high school musical is excellent, but being able to sing along to the songs is even better!
The movie is packed with action pack songs with a variety of ranges for different voices, each song is sung with emotion and that is why I think that having a sing along CD is great!
If you bought this CD you will be able to be like the real high school musical stars! You can learn to sing in harmony as many of the songs are in two part harmony and they are sung be Troy and Gabriella and Sharpay and Ryan. What an excellent opportunity to have, being able to sing the songs and impress your friends whilst having a lot of fun!
All the songs from the movie are there including karaoke versions of all the songs! My personal favourite is breaking free. First I listened to it with the words, and when I thought I was confident enough, I had a go on the karaoke version. It was amazing! It really boosted my confidence and helped me learn the lyrics more.

The songs which ALL have karaoke versions are:
1.: Start Of Something New (karaoke vocal) - Gabriella & Troy
2.: Get'Cha Head In The Game - Troy
3.: What I've been looking For - Sharpay & Ryan
4.: When There Was Me And You - Gabriella
5.: Bop To The Top - Sharpay & Ryan
6.: Breaking Free - Gabriella & Troy
7.: We're All In This Together
8.: I Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You - Troy & Gabrielle
9.: Start Of Something New (karaoke vocal)
10.: Get'Cha Head In The Game (karaoke vocal)
11.: What I've Been Looking For (karaoke vocal)
12.: When There Was Me And You (karaoke vocal)
13.: Bop To The Top (karaoke vocal)
14.: Breaking Free (karaoke vocal)
15.: We're All In This Together (karaoke vocal)
16.: I Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You (karaoke vocal)
17.: Start Of Something New (karaoke vocal)

Start of something new
I think that this song is really good and it creates a really good atmosphere. The song really brings together the whole show as it is the start of the relationship between troy and Gabriella. This song is in two part harmony, and it is great to listen too as the melody is really easy to follow. The only disadvantage is the timing is very hard on the karaoke versions.

Get'Cha Head In The Game
This is one of my favourite pieces as the rhythm and beats are really good. It is set in a basketball pitch and the effects are really good. For example, you can here the squeaks of the basketball shoes in the gym. This song is very fast, so it might be challenging for the younger people to sing along to.

What I’ve been looking for
This song is really catchy with a happy mood and an upbeat rhythm. The song is sung between Sharpay and Ryan during the auditions for the school production. This song is also in two-part harmony and the song is really easy to follow.

4 + 12
When There Was Me And You
Gabriella sings this song and it has a lot of emotion in the song. It has a wide range of notes so it may be challenging for some people to hit all the notes. It is a really lovely song as it is slower, and different from the others. The karaoke version is really easy as well as the chorus is sung with Gabriella along with you.

5+13
Bop To The Top
This song is like a salsa and has a Spanish theme. It is really good as it is really fast, has a really good rhythm and gain is in two part harmony between Sharpay and Ryan. Also, it includes some Spanish at the beginning so you can learn some Spanish too!

Breaking Free
This is my favourite song out of the whole movie. The lyrics are really good and the melody is really sweet. This song, yet again is sung in two-part harmony between Troy and Gabriella and it is quite romantic. The karaoke version is probably the easiest to sing to out of the whole CD.

7 + 15
We're All In This Together
This song is sung by the chorus and is the finale to the movie. This could easily be sung by a group of children as the lyrics are easy to remember, and there is a lot of repetition. The song is really easy to dance to also.

8 + 16
I Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You
This song is a BONUS song and is not in the movie at all. What a privilege to sing this. Even if this song is not as well known than the others it is still as good with great rhythms and beats.

So, it is a great CD
AND I RECOMMEND IT!
