‘High’ is classic Lighthouse Family, great lyrics, upbeat, easy listening, relaxing and great song.
The genre of this song is rock/pop and is a medium pace beat
The lyrics where written by Paul Taylor, lead vocals: Tunde Baiyewu. Keyboards: Paul tucker, Martin Hayes, Peter Gordeno. Drums: Ben Hiller.
Personally I think this song is the kind of tune you would listen to when you need to just chill out and relax nothing could be more perfect then the Lighthouse Family.
‘High’ is available as a single CD, but I think it well worth in investing in Lighthouse Family ‘Greatest Hits’ which includes many more of the fabulous hits, ‘Lifted’, ‘ Ocean Drive’, ‘Raincloud’, and ‘Lost In Space’ for example.
The single ‘High’ is available in every decent musical retailer, the greatest hits also.
‘High’ lyrics are:
When you’re close to tears remember Some day, it’ll all be over One day we’re gonna get, so, high
Though it’s darker than December What’s ahead is a different colour One day we’re gonna get, so, high
And at the end of the day, remember the days When were close to the edge And wonder how we made it through the night At the end of the day, remember the way We started so close to the edge We’ll remember it was me and you
Chorus Cos we gonna be Forever you and me You will always keep me flying high in the sky of love
Don’t you think it’s time you started Doing what we always wanted One day we’re gonna get, so, high
Cos even the impossible Is easy, when we got each other One day we’re gonna get, so, high
And at the end of the day, remember the days When were close to the edge And wonder how we made it through the night At the end of the day, remember the way We started so close to the edge We’ll remember it was me and you
Chorus x 2
High, high, high, high High, high, high, high
And at the end of the day, remember the days When were close to the edge And wonder how we made it through the night At the end of the day, remember the way We started so close to the edge We’ll remember it was me and you
Repeat chorus to fade
Thanks for reading :)
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Any band who lets their music be used as the Labour Party's campaign song (the abysmal lifted in 2001) need shooting. Dreadful lounge bar whiny b*llocks.

Hi! Needs a bit more detail for a higher rating rather than just the song lyrics, good start though, let me know if you edit and I'll happily consider re-rating :) xxx
