...I haven't been able to do much leisurely reading lately because of my Open University course keeping me busy, and most of my reading is to do with that to be honest! So when I am choosing my next read at the moment, I'm being quite fussy because I want to read something good, light-hearted and just easy to read. So when I was browsing my local library, I saw this bright pink book on the shelf, and after skimming the synopsis, it sounded like a book that appealed to me. So it came home with me and finally, 2 weeks later, I've finished it. At last. Diary of a Mad Mother-To-Be tells us the story of Amy Thomas-Stewart, a woman living in New York in the USA, and who is married to Stephen. The author's first book, Diary of a mad Bride-To-Be was centred around this character and her marriage, but as I haven't read it, I can't comment! Anyway... Read review

...Carole Matthews is the bestselling author of nine bestselling chick lit, romantic novels, and You Drive Me Crazy is the latest addition to her collection. Two of her books have been in the top five of the Sunday Times Bestseller fiction chart. I have read a couple of Matthews' books, and enjoyed them for what they are, romantic and easy to read. This book was out on general release on Valentines Day, and it really does feel as though it was a 'churner' book to cater for a loved up audience. I do not feel that this book is anywhere near the normal standard of her books. ~~ The Plot and My Opinion~~ This book has a well worn plot. Boy meets girl. Boy and girl fall for each other. Advantages: Melissa Joan Hart ~ Sabrina!
Disadvantages: Bad acting, storyline and performance

..., things seem hard but as the story carried on they find their un dying love towards each other just in time for the dance. I think I've given just about all the plot away but then the story was so predictable, most people probably knew it anyway! Melissa's and Adrian's performance was outstanding but as for some of the other actors, they were appaling! The film is basically another US teen romance, based around prom night. Having seen many of these now, this surely has to be the worst! Featuring Briteny Spears single, 'You Drive Me Crazy' the combination of pop music used is c**p. Hence, Briteny Spears single was the title of the film, Melissa Joan Hart also stars in the video of the track too.
