Advantages: Energetic, Original, Fast, Uplifting, Technically excellent music
Disadvantages: Some of their own work not as good as the covers.

I first heard this amazing group on TV (Glastonbury '05) when they played an amazing cover of Motorhead's "Ace Of Spades" Let me first just start by saying that before I heard this band I was quite narrow-minded about 'bluegrass' music but these guys take it to another level - and some. Hayseed Dixie (pronounced AC/DC) are mainly renowed for their cover songs of rock bands,and this album (Weapons Of Grass Destruction)is no exception, This album features 15 tracks (5 of which are their own tracks) The rest are mind-blowing covers that are techniaclly excellent the speed in which these guys play their banjos, guitars, violins & bluergrass mandolins is literally jaw-dropping. I'm On My Way To The Promise Land

Advantages: Bon Scott's voice, great riffs, everythin
Disadvantages: Some weaker songs which sound alike

Snow has struck us hard here in the West Midlands, which means my college is closed and my boredom grows, so I began to review this CD. Hope you enjoy. Who are AC/DC? ACDC are a hard rock band formed in Sydney Australia back in 1973. It was formed by brothers Angus and Malcolm Young who are still with the band today. Lead singer Bon Scott died of over use of alcohol in 1980 and they had to quickly find a new lead singer. When they found Brian Johnson, they released hundreds more albums. You'll need to be a die hard AC/DC fan to like it

Advantages: Play and sing along to a band that truly defined rock music.
Disadvantages: An expensive add-on for an already expensive game. Wii version lacks features.

Taking its inspiration from the earlier Singstar and Guitar Hero, Rock Band was one of the most successful playalong games of the past couple of years. Where previous games let you do vocals and guitar respectively, Rock Band lets you do both and you can have a go on the drums too. It's a ludicrously expensive game if you want to get the most out of it. A full set of instruments costs around £90, and the game another £30; you could almost buy an Xbox 360 for that, and you might well want to given that the Wii version is rather cut down. Given that the more recent editions of Guitar Hero offer a similar experience, with mutually incompatible equipment, it can be an expensive business if you're into these kinds of games.
