Advantages: Excellent opening plot Disadvantages: Poor delivery and predictability towards the end
There was a time, probably not too long ago where if someone used the word TV movie to associate with a film I was declaring myself out of the game. Life was just too short to watch made for television movies during the 70?s, 80?s, and majority of the 90?s. During the end of the 90?s and more so the new millennium channels like HBO and BBC changed the face of traditional TV movies, a bit more cutting edge and a little less concerned from protecting its audiences from sex, swearing and violence; in other words a lot more realistic. I?d not seen a made for TV horror movie for years, and the opening credits to HillsRunRed had already started before I realised that this was one.
The premise of HillsRunRed is actually very close to something I have felt in my time. Before the birth of the internet there were films that were talked about ...
Advantages: Shocking, unique, one to buy. Disadvantages: the sequal was crap
I love this horror film, yes i agree with the other review, it does have shock value, but thats what makes it a good film!.
Im very fussy when it comes to movies and theres not many horror films i actually rate, this movie however kept me watching it till the end, and my husband and i have watched this film a good 6 times atleast.
The story line is predictable at first., with the young brother, mum and dad and good looking daughter, but for me it didn't spoil the film one bit, i actually liked the characters surprisingly.
When i first watched the film, i wasn't sure in the first 5 minutes because, when you first see the 'killers' it makes you laugh because one of them is stood at the top of a cliff eating a leg? but then as the film goes on you take it more seriously.
This film is defintly a classic, MUCH better than ...
Now I'm no wine buff, so this review will be a simple, honest and to the point review of this wicked wine!
I only started enjoying red wine over the past 6 months and have been on a quest to find one that did not a) make my head explode and b) give me a hangover from hell.
One day browsing the ample wine shelves of Tesco I spotted this little gem. The description on the front is nice and straight forward (Soft Fruity California Red Wine) and hints towards what you can expect inside. The overview on the back label by a Blossom Hill winemaker is great too and doesn't reek of pretensious 'wine expert' babble. It reads:
"Blossom HillRed is soft and mellow with red berry fruit aromas"
I snapped it up for a mere £3.49, along with a couple of other bottles that turned out to be so revolting I won't mention them!
Upon opening I ...
