I would just like to write a review on Jools Holland Best of Friends, a CD with a DVD bonus pack on the king of rhythm and blues. We all know of him from his specials at New Year, along with the numerous shows that he does during the year.
As the title does actually point out, this is all about Jools performing with his friends. The tracks on the CD are as follows, along with who actually performed them with him:
1. Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra - Tuxedo Junction.
2. Lulu - Where have all the good guys gone?
3. Chrissie Hynde - Out of this world.
4. Edwin Starr - Snowflake Boogie (2007 Remix).
5. Norah Jones - In the dark.
6. George Harrison - Horse to the water (2007 Remix).
7. Ruby Turner - To love a chhild.
8. Prince Buster - Enjoy Yourself.
9. Sterophonics - First time ever I saw your face ...
Advantages: One of the best of his works Disadvantages: Not long enough!
Evil is that which we see in any Serial killer or similar ‘regular’ person, so if put off by the Horror title, please do not be as this ain’t horror.
At times incredibly moving and upsetting it is also funny and makes you feel good to be alive.
Filled with great characters you’ll find hard to forget and twists a’plenty, this is a damn good read that you will find hard to part down.
One of Koontz’s best and a good one for people to pick up as their entrance to his world. ...
Advantages: hysterically funny at times, insane characters Disadvantages: gross humour in places
So, I'll try and describe the madness of "Bo selecta!"
The main character of this comedy sketch show is a crazy fan to the stars, Avid Merion. He is foreign, although I have no idea where from as his strange, terribly staged accent is imcomprehensible. He wheres a neck brace constently and usualy is seen strutting around his flat, full of celebraty photos of his stalkees, in his big white y fronts. Oh yeah and he keeps Craig, winner of Big Brother1, locked in chains in his cupboard.
This show mixes sections where avid is anoying and harrassing real celebraties, in a kind of trigger happy tv style (who have no idea who he is and are quite scared), sections where the celebrities willingly take part in his show and scections where he mimicks certain celebrities by donning a huge prostetic head (which looks like the celebrity ...
