Advantages: more great singles than you could carry great price Disadvantages: not enough recognition
...have all these track on the many classic albums the band put out in the 70,s and 80,s,but if youve never heard anything by them or just fancied hearing a couple of quirky hits again then this "HITS" collection will surprise you with the the sheer amount of tracks and cherished b-sides ,unmistakenly English in sound and style which some would say hampered their chance of success X.T.C followed their own musicla path untill the early nineties even scoring a top 20hit and TOTP apperance in 1992 with "The Dissapointed " after which they were dumped by their record company after giving them some of the finest and most interesting pop singles of the previous 20 years and theyre all on this CD for you to treasure or discover,either way you wont lose ....

Advantages: variety of songs Disadvantages: none!!
...At first, I was very wary of this CD as I thought it would be full of forgotton one hit wonder tracks that would only appeal to world war two veterans and five year old children - but I was very, very wrong. There is something for everybody on this compilation, like 'Bohemian Rhapsody' for the plethra of Queen fans, 'Teenage Kicks' by The Undertones for all the Punk fans. Plus classics that fit all genres like 'Imagine' by John Lennon, 'Do They Know It's Christmas' by the unforgettable Band Aid and the moving 'Angels' by Robbie Williams.
Other artists include Steps, Kylie, David Bowie, Elton John, Soft Cell and Blondie, to name but a few.

Advantages: The sound of metal being thwacked Disadvantages: Some naff stuff

Horn and NME music writer Paul Morley had co-founded the Zang Tumb Tumb (ZTT) label and looked to people it with dance bands with attitude, a love of Morley’s. The Mancunian writer had sounded the hurrahs for the original punk movement but by the early 80’s had become disillusioned with such spiteful fare and had moved on to more glitzy affairs.
