Advantages: Nice guest rappers like Ghostface and Raekwon turn up at AFTERPARTY and THE TURN respectively. Disadvantages: The lyrics from Method man are disgusting and the musical production is revolting! SAY WHAT?
...collaborates with his close friend, Streetlife ( real name: Patrick Charles ) whom he met in Staten Island, New York. The Staten Island rapper starts of well on The Prequel by spitting nice lines with rhyming skills at the beginning of verse one:
[Method Man - 1st verse]
'....Once again, it's the super, pied piper
Light your lighters for the future
And I ain't talking about Mekhi Phifer
Roll it if you got it people
At last the Prequel
And the eye ball….'
But as THE PREQUEL continues from there, Method Man steadily begins to fall off lyrically. His ability to rhyme, gets progressively weaker with more simplistic wordplay that makes the rest of his first verse look sloppier. Method Manhits rock bottom with his lyricism in verse two as he finally loses his rhythm with his rhyme schemes, ending lines with different...

Advantages: All the songs are brilliant Disadvantages: ...You don't own it yet
...'s impossible not to find yourself dancing around chanting "Shoop shoop" like a deranged... shoop-shoop toad. This one really gets in your head, and is one of the highlights of the album
7 - If I Could Turn Back Time
Another classic Cher ballad, where she belts out how sorry she is that she broke her man's heart. This also isn't one of my favourite songs on the album but, again, that doesn't mean it's bad. Every song on the album is good. It's a Greatest Hit's album!

Ooh, I love this song! It's brilliant! Jesse James was an American outlaw, born in 1847, who was also a gunfighter. He was shot in his home when he was 34. Cher is not actually singing about him though, she's singing a man who is "just like Jesse James". He's a no good womanizer and she's going to take him down a peg or two. It's a brilliant song...

Advantages: Several of their best-ever tracks Disadvantages: A few rather samey fillers
...I tend to bracket Kiss, ZZ Top, and Bachman-Turner Overdrive together. ZZ Top have had two UK Top 10 singles, BTO one (much longer ago, admittedly). Kiss have had two as well, but a much longer chart career than either, stretching back to 1979. Most of the hits, plus a few near-misses which were successful in the US, and two new tracks, appear on this compilation.
All three acts share common ground. Each made a handful of great singles which simultaneously had a foot in the pop and hard rock fields, but soon showed a rather slavish adherence to the formula which in turn made the albums sound pretty samey. Once you'd heard half a dozen different tracks by them, you probably didn't really need to hear any more. A 'best of' would surely be all by any of them you'd ever need in your collection. Having said that, I've always liked...
