Moving to London as the Eighties began, they lasted a mere three years before collapsing in on themselves, unable to maintain such a level of aggressive sonic innovation. Opening with such sparse shockabilly attacks as "Nick The Stripper" and "Release The Bats", Hits drags us roughly through the band's short-yet-seismic career. Junkyard, their jerky, bluesy, metal-bashing fourth album, was well represented by the cruel, countrified "She's Hit" and "Big Jesus Trashcan". Singer Nick Cave's fascination with murder ballads was revealed by the grim "Deep In The Woods", while "Mutiny In Heaven" took his interest in religion and religious fervour to new ecstatic heights. In terms of sophisticated artistry, Cave would advance mightily, but he never again achieved such savagery. --Dominic Wills
Advantages: the songs filled my nephew with joy and mad his day Disadvantages: the songs can get a bit iratable for the older person
...recently i have baught this cd for my nephews birthday i was in a shop with him wen he herd a preview of th cd ,he sore the case grabbed it and would not let go so i baught it for him as an early birthday present i would defenetly recomend this cd to any one who has a young son daughter or relative and u cannot decide on wat to buy them my nephew has not stopped listening to it yet.
i like the cd bcause it is not rude in any way i can leave little billy in a room to liston to it without having to silence out roude words the cd brings back memorys of wen i was younger i liked listening to simaler types of music wen i was younger...

Advantages: GREAT PARTY TRACKS Disadvantages: SOME NOT SO GREAT TRACKS
...I'am well known to throw a party once in a while, the thing is my parties are usually a bit crazy to say the least. My house is usually full of adults in fancy dress, playing childrens party games, singing karaoke and downing quite alot of alcohol. It's always such a good laugh and people always come back again and again so I must be doing something right.
Anyway, a few months ago I was shopping at Tescos when I noticed The Ultimate Cheese Party CD and I thought it would be perfect for my parties and my sons birthdayparties.
The cd cost me 12.99, which I think is pretty good as it has 3 CDs.

...The Vengaboys burst onto the scene in early 1999 with their hit Up & Down which is still one of my fave tracks ever!
Their First album includes all the Hits :- Boom Boom Boom, Up & Down, We Like To Party,the number summer hit We're going to Ibiza and the unknown "To Brazil" which was a hit in other countries.
If you want a Party album, then this is one to get although a bit cheesy well in fact a lot cheesy this album still does what its supposed to - that being to entertain!
There are twelve tracks in all and in my view most of the best tracks were the best off the album. Other faves include the last track Paradise.
Full of beats and catchy tunes, this album is great for a party. Hence "The Party Album"
