...However I am reviewing The Hits CD and not Garth Brooks himself, so lets get on. This is a 20 Track CD so it will be a little longer than a standard review to enable me to mention all of the tracks. Apologies in advance to anyone wanting a quick read. American hits such as "Ain't going down till the sun comes up" and the "American honky tonk bar association" are on this album. The album also includes Garth's two biggest hits, "Standing outside the fire" and a the ballad "The red strokes", which provided Garth with his only UK top twenty hits. Brooks shows his romantic side on the ballad "One night a day". One of the songs "The night I called the old man out" is about a fight between a father and son.
