I love Meatloaf, pure and simple. This rocker has had some outstanding hits. His real name is Marvin Lee Aday, and with a name like that, you can see why he goes by Meatloaf.

The album is Hits Out Of Hell. It is a compilation album, made up from the greatest hits of three of his other albums. They are, Bat Out Of Hell, Dead Ringer, and Midnight At The Lost And Found.

Track By Track Breakdown.....

Bat Out Of Hell........ This is the one that I think he is the most well-known for......... Its a great tune, powerful lyrics, fantastic beat, rough and ready.

Read 'Em And Weep........ A very emotional song, "Its there in my eyes and its all I can say, c'mon and look at me, and read 'em, and weep......"

Midnight At The Lost And Found........ All about lost souls getting together, a great song.

Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad......... This is a great and powerful song. Sad, a ballad of what may have been for two people....

Dead Ringer For Love......... This is the song where he did a duet with the legendary Cher. Great song, fantastic beat, sublime lyrics, all about horny guy meets horny girl, and the final showdown when they tell each other they like what they see.

Modern Girl........ Hmmmm, how to describe this song? Great song, "give me the future with a modern girl......."

I'm Gonna Love Her For Both Of Us........ My all time favourite song..... a masterpiece from Meatloaf. Guy singing his heart out over a girl being mistreated, and he has taken her away from her former lover, and looking out for her. "I'm gonna give her everything you always wanted to give.........."

You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth..

Launch into a really bangin' tune, great lyrics, thumping beat, great stuff.......

Razors Edge........ Another great tune by the master of rock, "We're all looking for, the razors edge...."

Paradise By The Dashboard Light....
i)Paradise.... ii)Let Me Sleep On It.... iii)Praying For The End Of Time.... This song is broken down into three parts, all about a guy who basically wants to get laid....... and is having trouble with his girl, she wants to know if he loves her before she goes any further........ a great number, great tune, lyrics outstanding.

Like I said, I love Meatloaf. For interest, track 2, Read 'Em And Weep, was produced by Jimmy Iovine, who produced Rattle'N'Hum for U2.......
