Phil Collins ...Hits has 16 of his most popular songs, and is one of my favorite CD's.
Songs it contains are: 1. ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE 5.22 from 1989...'BUT SERIOUSLY' A great song recently remade by Brandy and Ray J. This like many of Phils songs contain great lyrics and tell the story of an old homeless woman.
2. TRUE COLORS 4.33 from 1988...'HITS' Like in all of Phils songs he plays the drums in this one. It was sang on a car advert by a young girl.
3. EASY LOVER 5.03 from 984...'CHINESE WALL'
4. YOU CAN'T HURRY LOVE 2.53 from 1982...'HELLO... I MUST BE GOING'
5. TWO HEARTS 3.25 from 1989...'BUSTER' soundtrack This is one of two songs from the film BUSTER where Phil played Ronnie Biggs, The Great Train robber who was in the news recently after returning to England.
6. I WISH IT WOULD RAIN DOWN 5.28 from 1989...'BUT SERIOUSLY' This is a great song in which Eric Clapton is playing the guitars.
7. AGAINST ALL ODDS 3.23 from 1984...'AGAINST ALL ODDS' soundtrack From the movie.
8. SOMETHING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO HEAVEN 4.52 from 1989...'BUT SERIOUSLY'
9. SEPARATE LIVES 4.06 from 1985...'WHITE NIGHTS' soundtrack
10. BOTH SIDES OF THE STORY 6.39 from 1993...'BOTH SIDES' This is my FAVORITE song on the CD, it is worth listening to just for the lyrics. If you haven't heard it find the lyrics on the net and you'll see how good they are. Phil plays all instruments in this track.
11. ONE MORE NIGHT 4.46 from 1985...'NO JACKET REQUIRED'
12. SUSSUDIO 4.23 from 1985...'NO JACKET REQUIRED' Yeah!
13. DANCE INTO THE LIGHT 4.24 from 1996...'DANCE INTO THE LIGHT'
14. A GROOVY KIND OF LOVE 3.28 from 1988...'BUSTER' soundtrack Originally sang by the Moody Blues (my dad tells me!) this is a beautiful song
15. IN THE AIR TONIGHT 5.32 from 1981...'FACE VALUE' WOW, when Phil plays the drum solo in this it makes me jump (almost, but i1m pretty hard to scare)
16. TAKE ME HOME 5.51 from 1985...'NO JACKET REQUIRED'
This is a great CD and I recommend it to music fans, or for that matter any Phil Collins album, he is a great talent!
