...Toni Braxton was a smoldering fire. From the little Virginia church girl enticed by the secular grooves on Soul Train to the sultry Grammy Award winning songbird to the bankrupt Broadway Belle, Toni’s velvet voice and passion for music endeared her to the public and kept her in the game, despite her misfortunes.

...A few years ago I was in a local pub and this handsome barman caught my eye!During a short break from bartending he took to the floor and I couldn't believe the sound which was coming from him-the place was brought to a standstill and the hairs on the back of my kneck stood to attention. We all knew we would see this guy again.
I have recently bought his album and am pleased to say those hairs were once again up on the back of my kneck.Playing this in the car,I was almost spellbound by the amazing voice of Tony Henry-beautiful modern and familiar songs accompanied by The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra; She being a particular favourite of mine and the haunting First Time Ever I saw Your Face.
Tony Henry deserves to be a star-I hope we hear a whole lot more of this beautiful voice....

He impressed me throughout the Reborn tour, performing consistently and professionally. Each week, he shone and thoroughly deserved to win. He has three tracks on the album and these are amongst the best.
He begins the album with Walking In Memphis (which I first heard when Aaron Bayley sang it on Pop Idol). This is a great start to the CD with a very good song and an impressive vocal performance from Tony. His rich tones are perfect for this one and it is probably the track I play the most.
He also sings track ten – To Love...
