Advantages: A typical Radiohead album Disadvantages: So depressing
...the scene for the rest of it. Keyboards and organs seem to dominate this album instead of Guitars and drums.

Ah the title track. This must be good? Well, it isnt.
Again moody and fully of keyboards and some percussion added this time. Vocals are obviously played through some form of voice alteration box as it sounds distorted.

3) The National Anthem.

A bit better. More like Radiohead of old. It has a powerful bassline this song.
Drums sound very much like a Radiohead song. Not too sure about the Jazz type solo going on in the background. Sounds like a load of people who have never played a wind instrument are murdering them. An awful sound that muffles the song.
Like the Bassline though so its a bit better.

Advantages: Experimental in a good way, Intresting textural construction Disadvantages: Sometimes experimental in a bad way,
.... The track itself has a strange jazzy blues atmosphere with Thom's dubbed out vocals meeting another sombre piano line and echoed drum rolls.
More guitars appear on the next track 'I might be wrong'. The song beginswith electronic drones and rim shot hip-hop beats before the U2esqe guitars enter the affray along with a booming electronic bass. The strangest thing about the track is that the instruments and vocals sound like they are being played in separate rooms. Thom's vocals especially seem to be working on a separate level form the rest of the track. Somehow this separation seems to work and the various levels seem to blend into each other towards the end of the song.
Radiohead then decided to metamorphose their sound again with 'Knives out' which could be a long lost OK Computer number. The track is full of the chiming guitars that formed...

This Album was made in 2001, you can buy all Radiohead albums from any HMV store, or order it from the internet, e.g. ebay, amazon etc.
Radiohead first met at Oxford University often viewed as being english moaning miserablists, whose first efforts as a band, wanted to copy the Pixies.
