Hold Your Colour is the debut album by Australian DnB group Pendulum. Realeased 25th July 2005, it gave Pendulum worldwide fame and they were loved by hardcore DnB fans and people new to the scene alike.
When i first bought this album i was a little skeptical of how good it would be. After first hearing "Another Planet", which still remains possibly the greatest song i have EVER heard, i was intruiged as to how they would be able to make a whole album like this without it sounding a bit 'samey', for use of a better word.
I was pleasantly surprised. 2 months on and this CD hasn't left my CD player. There is at least 1 song for you on this album no matter what mood you're in. It is the only album i own where each song is as good as the one that followed it, if not better. The songs also vary quite dramatically. You have your fast paced killers such as 'Slam' and 'Fasten Your Seatbelt' then you have your, not slower, but "different" songs such as 'Through The Loop' and, one of my all time favourites, 'Girl In The Fire'.
Full Track Listing. 1. Prelude 2. Slam 3. Plastic World 4. Fasten Your Seatbelt (ft. The Freestylers) 5. Through The Loop 6. Sounds of Life (ft. Jasmin Lee) 7. Girl in the Fire 8. Tarantula (Pendulum vs. Fresh ft. Sptda & Tenor Fly) 9. Out Here 10. Hold Your Colour 11. The Terminal 12. Streamline 13. Another Planet 14. Still Grey
I would recommend EVERYONE give this a listen, no matter what genre of music you listen to. You'll like it!
