I think that the Spice Girls new single (Holler) is great! They can work well without Geri, but I feel that the band was better with Geri - she is a great celebraty! It is good that Victoria has prooved that she has a voice on her - obiously she has been practising in her spare time! I feel that the new Album (Forever) will go to the top! OK, I'll admit, this isn't my type of music- I'm an indie fan. This is the perfect place for me to express my opinions on the spice girls.... OK, so this single is a change from the other carap but... 1. It's still crap 2. They're still crap 3. It looks as if they're always gonna be crap Please don't buy this single, or any future Spice girls record (unless I give it a good review)- Success will only make them think that their music is worth ... Holler/ let love... was definatly a top notch cd. With the girls back on the scene with songs like these, artists beware!!! But not for long though!! Admitidly the songs are great but if you can resist on album purchase. The girls try to take on a new mature RnB feel, and it worked with holler, but i think they forgot about the rest of the songs. ...Spice girls new song - holler is quite different to what their usual type of music. It is good though but I don't think it is as good as what their music used to be. You could dance and have fun to the old songs, but this song is not as dancy I think. I like it though, It's got good lyrics and the it's a good speed. I think It will make number 1 because its the spice girls and that it is a good song. The words are catchable and easy to remember so ... Read review

...cleavage – was Ginger Spice – probably because Booby Spice was a bit too controversial. Hit followed hit, swiftly disproving all the usual ‘one hit wonder’ threats – Mama, Who Do You Think You Are?, Two Become One, and many more. Soon they were smashing records and proving themselves to be the most successful British girl band ever. Well, okay, not so impressive if you think there was only Bananarama as competition, but let’s face it, the Spice Girls were something special. Were. Yes, I used the past tense, for they are no more – maybe, probably. People cried when Take That split up, thinking they would never see the lads again. Advantages: The lyrical genius, slick harmonies, smashing productions and catchy melodies.
Disadvantages: The lack of pop/disco songs which make the spice girls, the spice girls.

...Thinking back to the spice girls early days, people criticised them for being a pop band, their first 2 albums sold millions worldwide. Since geri left the band and a 'break' was taken. After this they came back with a the number 1 double a-side Holler/Let Love Lead The Way. Yet this album seemed to have fairly poor sales. I was shocked as this is one of the best albums i own. The new sound wasn't the spice girls, i don't think people like the mature spice girls, yet this RnB flavoured pop is far from being dull and not catchy. Lack of promotion from the girls has lead to this being a disaster. Tracks such as 'Holler', 'Tell me why' and 'Right Back Atcha' have a stronger RnB feel, with the majority of tracks being produced by RnB genius' whp have worked with bands such as destiny's child.
