Advantages: Wonderful music, great animation, unique storyline Disadvantages: None! (maybe the length of it..)
give interesting facts about the film. There are 11 facts in total.
Howard Blake wrote the music to the film, just as he wrote the music to 'The Snowman'. There is orchestral music playing to accompany the film.
The film opens up with a young polar bear standing with his family. The polar bear wanders off and falls into the ocean and is then picked up by some sailors. The little polar bear is then put in a zoo and we are introduced to the little girl 'Tilly' who drops her teddy bear into the enclosure.
Tilly is very upset by this and cries herself to sleep, yet she wakes up to find her teddy bear returned to her and the polar bear from the enclosure in the zoo in her room.
Can the bear live with Tilly in her house and will she manage to keep him hidden from her parents? Will their relationship work out? Will the bear ever get to ...

Holly - Ilex
I have seen many Holly hedges and we have a holly mixed in with our hedge, we did not plant it but I think its seed dropped from a bird as it sat in the bush next to it.
Holly is an evergreen tree. A holly is easy to identify as it has shiny prickly leaves with sharp points. Actually there is one holly that does not have points on its leaves .The leaves of the holly is green and some are variegated with cream. The female holly produces red berries that are used at Christmas for decoration. To get holly berries there must be a male tree nearby to pollinate the female to produce berries. Some hollies have yellow berries. If you are buying holly at the garden centre the sex should be on the label.
Holly is a good tree to make a hedge from as it makes a thick hedge; it is prickly so is good for a border hedge where ...

Holly / aquifoleceae
Christmas is nearly here so it’s nearly time to deck the halls, sitting rooms, and parlours with holly I thought I would write a little op about it.
Holly is a family of more than 300 species. They have red, black, white, cream, or orange berries.
Some hollies are used medicinally.
North American holly Ilex opaca has in the past been given for bronchitis, fever, worms, gout and rheumatism
Ilex aquifolium has been used for malaria; rheumatism and influenza believe the leaves were used
The one we are familiar with is the common/English holly Ilex aquifolium
Holly is associated in Christmas traditions throughout northern Europe. I suspect it symbolises the crown of thorns and the red berries blood.
Holly symbolises the continuation of life through winter dormancy
The holly was not called holly ...

Album Notes
Full performer name: The Young Tradition/Shirley & Dolly Collins. This fine collection of 11 traditional English Christmas carols was recorded in 1969. Because of the breakup of The Young Tradition, the album remained unreleased until 1995. THE HOLLY BEARS THE CROWN also features a pair of dramatic readings and one seasonal original by Young Tradition leader Royston Wood. For HOLLY, The Young Tradition (which also included Peter Bellamy and Heather Wood) is joined by legendary British folk singer Shirley Collins and her sister Dolly. The viols of Roddy and Adam Skeaping and Dolly's imaginative organ playing underpin HOLLY's remarkably powerful and heartfelt performances. The Young Tradition is second only to The Watersons in the minds of most fans of '60s British folk vocal groups. These expressive and thoughtful readings of tunes as beloved as "The Cherry Tree Carol," "Shepherds Arise," and "The Coventry Carol" make HOLLY a rarity-a Christmas album you'll want to play year-round.
