Welcome to the prolific world of Bill Leeb, mastermind behind Front Line Assembly, Delerium and a legion of other side projects.
Equinox again is another side project for Bill, this time working with his Chris Peterson (FLA and Will). Producing an album based more in the techno/electronica genre rather than the Industrial/EBM sound that FLA has been the masters of for the last decade. This time there are breakbeats instead of the Teutonic rhythms normally associated with Leebs work. However the bass and the programming remain the same keeping that unmistakable Leeb sound, based around precision and dynamic, giving the album the usual superb sheen of production.

If a criticism can be levelled at Holon it is that it sounds very much like other FLA side projects particularly Intermix and Pro-Tech. Leeb maybe a prolific artist but when the differences between the projects becomes harder to tell, it has to be questioned why many of them exist, while the have similar content and sound to others. A criticism that Leeb has taken on board, recently announcing he is to concentrate on FLA and Delerium alone. This can only be a good thing as although Leeb constantly produces high quality music, there just not another time to listen to it all and appreciate the quality contained within.
