Advantages: A high level of lyrical intelligence, terrific vocal power. Disadvantages: A couple of weak tracks.
...'Holy Wood (In the Shadow of the Valley of Death)' is the fourth full length studio album from Marilyn Manson, a nineteen track construction of music and one that has a run time of over an hour in length. It's really quite a powerful piece of music, a well put together album and one that features many excellent tracks. The album tackles subjects such as religion, fame, and gun crime also; the lyrical content of the album is strong and always Marilyn Manson here has plenty to say.
The album begins with 'Godeatgod', the first of many tracks to reference God in the title of the track alone. It's a decent way to start the album, not the best track on 'Holy Wood (In the Shadow of the Valley of Death)' but certainly a strong one nonetheless. The lyrical content of the track lays our clearly what you can expect from the rest of the album...

Advantages: Showcases Brians vocals quite well, some catchy tracks, Disadvantages: Wont appeal to all, BSB fans and others, some tracks slightly 'filler'
...2006. It features the single Welcome Home (You) and is, obviously, a pop/Christian record. It seems to only be available on import from the US, through Sony BMG, Provident label group and Provident Integrity distribution. You can purchase it as an import on amazon.co.uk or even better, at the time of this review (July 2008), I found it available on Play.com for the very cheap price of £6.99 with free delivery, which is a good deal. I've also heard that you can buy signed copies through the website for his charity, called the Brian Littrell Healthy Heart club for Kids, or HHC.
