With a keen interest in gardening and landscaping there is nothing more enjoyable than sitting down to watch Ground Force. Imagine if you can take that enjoyment a step further and extend it to times other than when Ground Force is on television. Of course you could go out and buy a few series on DVD…………. Or you can buy the soundtrack on CD. I bought the Ground Force soundtrack around five years ago and it has remained one of my favourite CD’s to listen to, particularly when I am feeling a bit stressed or tired. Rivalled by only Elvis Presley and The Beatles, their remarkable acheivements included 12 ground-breaking chart-toppers. Motown boss, Berry Gordy, intended to use his roster of artists to appeal too not only blacks but to break into white culture too. Diana Ross And The Supremes were easily the most successful act at Motown to find acceptance in white culture whilst also shrewdly retaining their wide black base also. There are popular misconceptions about The Supremes, that Diana Ross stepped all over Mary Wilson and the groups founder, Florence Ballard in a ruthless bid to be the sole star of the group. The songs are written in pink on a black background. The back cover isn’t in black and white like the front. ╣What I Think/Who Would Enjoy It╠ Songs - I have never bought an album where I have loved nearly every song on it. This album has 12 songs, and I like at least 10, with about 8 I love, where usually, I buy an album with 15 songs, and enjoy about 3 songs on it, which is why I was really happy with this album when I got it. To enjoy nearly all the songs just shows how good of an album it is, especially having 3 of the top RnB producers in the business producing the album, you wouldn’t expect anything less.
