Holy Wood (in the valley of the shadow of death) is an outstanding achievement. Each of the tracks is worth being the title track on most albums. To complement the excellent music are Manson's acute and pointed comments on our society. This is not an album that sounds angry for the sake of it. Every issue that most artists are simply afraid to mention is exposed explicitly. There is nothing that Manson wont say, and for that alone the album is well worth buying. This album is clearly Manson's best work to date, and it is nice to return a to his original style after the deviation of Mechanical Animals. This is a must buy for anyone into this genre of music.
