...My taste in music is Catholic. In hat my taste in music is wide and varied. Which is why you will find me writing reviews on a wide range of musical styles and genres. One of my passions is the Blues. This review is a review of Comin' Home to the Blues, volume II. This really is a classic CD if its type. It sounds like a Whose Who in Blues Hall of Fame. There are tracks my Howlin' Wolf, Bo Didley, sonny Boy Williamson, Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters, Elmore James. Little Walter, Otis Rush, Etta James (who has one of the sexiest female voices ever. In any musical genre!) Willie Dixon, John Lee Hooker, Jimmy Rogers, Koko Taylor (who has the other sexiest female voices ever. In any musical genre!) Washboard Sam and Lowell Fulson. Advantages: Fantastic Full-Length Dance Classics
Disadvantages: A few substandard fillers...

...I've got all the Back To Love compilations from Hed Kandi of of "classic tracks that gave birth to a whole generation of clubbers", and was listening to this one (well, both CD's in this double-pack actually) in my car earlier today, so though't I'd let you know what I thought... --- CD1 1. "You're gonna miss me" - Turntable Orchestra (original mix) Classic "italian house" piano, and a great baseline 2. "Love will find a way" - Victor Romeo feat. Latrice Brown Nothing special about this one really, a bit of a filler really... 3. "See the day" - Ann Consuelo (Stonebridge mix) What a vocal ! And more italian piano. 4. "Aftershock" - Slave to the Vibe (12" club mix) Maybe it's this extended 12" mix (that Hed Handi is all about), but I remember this track being much better... 5. "Push the feeling on... Read review

Advantages: Some good remixes and the price
Disadvantages: Not many, some fillers but i suppose you get that with every album

...This cd is an absolue bargain. I would highly recommend purchasing this as Bad Boy and Puff Daddy are well known for producing good remixes and the series of albums was a very good idea, another money spinning venture but one for the fans who had remixes on b sides of cd singles and recorded off the radio! Special Delivery - G Dep, Ghostface Killah, Keith Murray & Craig Mack. Quite a repetitive tune but a cult favourite. More likely to hear it in the clubs I Need A Girl Part 2 - Ginuwine, Mario Winans, P Diddy & Loon. Video and single released off the back of the successful part 1. Some say they prefer this version, i actual do and its one of the best tracks on the album Bad Boy For Life - P Diddy, Busta Rhymes & MOP. A shouty version of the original.
