But this group really got me taping my foot. Described as Alternative, their songs have a generally relaxed feel about them. Advantages: One of the best selling records ever.
Disadvantages: Can you explain the word disadvantage ??

The success of this album effectively split Simon and Garfunkel up, mainly because Paul Simon was felt that Art Garfunkel was getting too much of the acclaim for the title track. Advantages: Quite simply a beautiful album with a very relaxing feel
Disadvantages: The pace may not suit some

...to actually win. One of the factors that really drew me to Easyworld was in fact Ford's song writing ability and I hoped this album would be able to live up to the presidency set by his earlier work. The album is not only written and performed by Ford but he also did all the production work on it as well. The majority of the album was recorded in his friend's houses and finished off in his cellar in his home studio in Lewes. It seems to be another example that when a record company just lets an artist really have musical freedom over an album, the results can be quite amazing. The album and style really pick up where Easyworld let off but there are also parallels that can be drawn to the likes of Tom McRae and David Gray.
