The Bloodhound Gang have once again managed to create a fantastically offensive album with amazing music and lyrics. Hooray for Boobies brought commercial success for the Bloodhound Gang with the release of the single 'The Bad Touch', and unleashed Jimmy Pop onto an unsuspecting public.
Anyway, more about the album. This album is influenced, as is One Fierce Beercoster, by many different styles. These include, punk, rock, a bit of metal, a little hip-hop, and a small amount of opera - honestly!!! It's a much heavier album than One Fierce Beer Coaster, but this is a very good thing.
Songs on the album that stick out include, 'The Ballad of Chasey Lain', a song written about some sort of porn star/stripper, with quite heavy rock riffs and catchy chorus, 'The Bad Touch', their number one smash, and 'Along Come's Mary', a great little heavy rock song. All other songs on the album are equally good in their own way, but haven't stood out to me quite as much.
All in all, it's definitely a good buy if you're willing to look past the obscenities within...
