Versace Metal Jeans (Homme) - Doesn't compare....

Advantages: (+) fruity, spicy, floral all in one (+) original packaging (+) lasts a while (+) OK price
Disadvantages: (-) smells like Cola after 1hr or so (-) discontinued in 2002 (-) more like EDT

First of all, I would just like to note that (apparently!) this fragrance was discontinued between 2002 and late 2003 so I would be a little unsure about buying this one again. I never see it in big department stores anymore such as Boots, Fenwick, and so forth so am anxious to know whether the ones for sale online are, in fact, the real deal; if anyone knows, please tell me as I quite liked this Versace scent! SMALL BIT OF HISTORY: I haven't personally worn this, although I did test some on a fragrance card before purchasing it many moons ago(!) for my Father. I'd already had Versace Red Jeans twice and absolutely loved it - very nice for such an inexpensive fragrance. Jean Paul Got To Have!

Advantages: Great long lasting smell, nice bottle
Disadvantages: A little more expensive than others on the market

I was bought this aftershave for Christmas this year by my girlfriend. I liked it so much; I thought I would share my opinion of it with Ciao. Packaging Jean Paul Gaultier 'Le Male' comes in a silver tin with the 'Jean Paul Gaultier' label embossed on the front. You can pull the bottom of the tin off, and the bottle of aftershave sits in a stand on the base, which is attached to the base of the tin. Inside the top section of the tin is a white plastic section which holds the top of the bottle square inside the tin, once the bottle is back inside which stops it from rattling around and possibly being smashed inside. The bottle itself is typical of Jean Paul Gaultier aftershave and comes in their famous body shaped bottle. This particular bottle is in the theme of a sailor. Jean Paul Gaultier - Oldie but a Goodie

Ahhh JPG where do I start? This has to be one of the most recognised Male fragrances there is! Years on and its still loved just as much as it was back in the day. I still remember my first whiff of this...my neighbour whom I used to babysit for wore this and from then on I've had a love for this which has never faded. Its quite a sweet heady scent however just oozes sexuality and confidence.. well to me it does anyways! I'm putty in a mans hands when he is wearing this. Nine ten years on and I still insist on my partner always having a bottle fo this as it is timeless to me. I'm sure many a woman and men remember their teenmage years smelling this and having that soft spot for it since....one whiff and you are taken back to those happy years of our life. What coudl be better than that? ...
