There is no other label that have shaken the whole drum'n'bass scene as Hospital Records have. They've brought a soul to the most non-melodic genre and thus filled a "jump-only" tunes with various emotions. This here is a second part of selection of the label's finest, mixed by Tomahawk, one of the oldest residents.

Both famous and fresh tracks of the label are compiled together here. New funky version of High Contrast's groundbreaking "Music Is Everything" begins the set, followed by a cute piece of tune by legendary London Electricity and Tomahawk itself. Fresh track by Cyantific "Neon Skyline" brings in an bit of oldie spirit. Another piece of classics follows with London Electricity's well-known "Billion Dollar Gravy" and Klute's "Part of Me" being placed pretty well. Later on, Calibre's remix of "Global Love" by High Contrast and Dagga's "Laughing Gas" give a little bassy refreshment. It all ends up with another remake of "Music is Everything", this time it's Danny Bird's very beautiful instrumental version.

Overall, this is a very good example of a high quality soulful drum'n'bass. This is exactly what "intelligent" d'n'b is meant to be. Recommended both to those who are already know what is it and to those who want to take of try of a Hospital Records delicacy.
