Hostage will capture you!

Advantages: Good plot, acting and mood
Disadvantages: Dark and disturbing

Often, the problem with films adapted from books is that, because they are not specifically written for the screen, parts of the tale are often lost in the adaptation. While this is true of Hostage, an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Robert Crais, the film does retain the complete plotline, making only a few minor adjustments. The Plot Hostage negotiator Jeff Talley was at the top of his profession when he made an error and lost a hostage. Moving away and trying to mend bridges with his family, rifts caused by his professional errors, Talley gets a job as chief of police in the small town of Bristo Camino. However, a hostage situation emerges at the house of a successful accountant who secretly works with a dangerous crime syndicate, and Talley's team is activated as a response unit. Haunted by the past, Talley must ...

Hostage - Bruce Willis action/adventure

Advantages: Action/adventure, Bruce Willis
Disadvantages: Quite Violent

Hostage - Would you sacrifice another family to save your own? This is the dilemma facing Bruce Willis in the film Hostage. It's not one of his well known films as far as I'm concerned but it is still a Bruce Willis classic, i.e., lots of guns and violence etc. The film was released in 2005 and was actually based on a novel by Robert Crais. As I don't like to spoil films in my reviews I will just give you a brief overview of the plot. Bruce Willis is a police chief in a small town, the fictional Bristo Camino in Ventura California. Apparently, for anyone who knows California the town is supposed to resemble Ojai or Moorpark. Having been to both places I could see how that could be true. Bruce (Jeff Talley) has recently moved here from Los Angeles where he was a hostage negotiator but after a very harrowing last job he decides to ...

A wasted Fortune

Advantages: Knowing you win every game
Disadvantages: The entire game is poor

Do you like game shows? And do you always wish you could play them on a console? Well this game Family Fortunes you can do just that and play it on the Nintendo Ds Console. The Game Incase you are wondering what Family Fortunes is the idea is you have a family of 5 people on there and they are against another family competing to find the top answers given by the public to a certain question. You choose the sort of answer you would suspect they have chosen and you have 3 lives in order to survive. If you get 3 wrong answers before the game is finished the other side have a chance to steal all the points if they find just one missing answer. This game follows this rule but there are a few issues along the way. When you begin the game you can play as a family and just practice or against another team. I did the practice mode ...
