Hot And Slow (Classics Rocks 'n' Ballads) - Accept

Advantages: Great Thrash Album, Also Very Talented Musicians
Disadvantages: Very Underground Band

...' - This is a great track and one of my favourites, The thrash riff explodes in with an intense lead solo. About halfway through the track is a great breakdown which is fairly melodic and has a great guitar solo. 'Annihilator' - A Great thrash track with plenty of bass, very rhythm based again. '21' - This Song kicks in with with a killer bass riff which is maintained throughout most of the track. This is another great track. 'In The Blood' - A classic ballad from the band. 'Fiasco (Slate)' - '10 second interlude' 'Fiasco' - Great track with plenty of cool rhythms and strange time signatures. Some awsome soloing for guitarist Jeff Waters. 'Catch The Wind' - A very good instrumental showing the bands musical talent . plenty of great chord progressions very mellow and nice to listen to. 'Speed' - Speed is a great track, it has a sort of rock n' roll... Read review

...combined with more quiet moments, but if a slow rock ballad is what you're after then "Seize the Day" is just that, with its piano backing and Guns N' Roses style vibes. "Betrayed" is another touching song and is the bands' tribute to Dimebag, whose sudden death in 2004 shocked many in the rock community. In a music industry sadly lacking in innovative metal bands, Avenged Sevenfold offer a breath of fresh air with "City of Evil." It will change the way you look at music as a whole- this is not an album to be missed!... Read review

...N.E.R.D are not your typical hip hop group. Even though they always seem to produce amazing hits with worldwide acceptance, their passion for a creative, original spark is never compromised. The hip hop routes show through, and the basis is then built upon with killer samples, from classic rock to funk guitar. There is no shortage of album selling titles, such as'Drop it like its hot', 'Beautiful' and 'She Likes To Move'. Anyone who is unsure of what N.E.R.D are aiming to accomplish should pick this up and let them show you a tour of the musical variety they include in 'Fly Or Die/ In Search Of.' Similarily, any fan of N.E.R.D would see a hole in their CD rack the size of the hole in the ozone layer if they missed out!
