Every single song on HOT FUSS by the killers tell a dramatic story. Lead singer Brandon Flowers has a voice that has the ability to illustrate all that. I was suprised to find out that they were american because it is certainly rare for an american band to come out with such innovative material. "Mr Brightside" is a beautiful rock number of a story of love, betrayal, denial and helplessness whereas "Somebody Told Me" is a sneer tongue in cheek talk back song especially to your ex girlfriend. Then there are other fine tracks like "Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine", "Andy You're A star" which at times may make you wonder if they are trying to be british. Either way, Hot Fuss is one album not to be missed.
