New Album from a Welsh band of 5 The singer: Matt Davies Guitarists: Kris Roberts and Darren Bassist: Garreth Davies (not related to Matt) Drummer: Ryan Richards
These 5 started off as a small band and worked there way up and got quite a fan base from the Debut album Casually Dressed and Deep in conversation. They had 3 E.P's before (Between Order and model, Four ways to scream ytour name and seven ways to scream your name) filled with post-hardcore tunes
Now 2005 brings a whole new album for them with the first single being 'Streetcar' that is proven to be popular. This album is called Hours:
This album is very good but it is a lot more mellow than casually dressed and deep in conversation, the heaviest songs are 'All the Rage', 'Roses for the dead' and 'The End of Nothing'
This album has really made funeral for a friend big winning the kerrang awards for best British band, The DVD contains interviews with the band and tracks from the Give it a name festival which was a one off and funeral for a friend were headlining it.
The songs on this album can relate to lots of people which Funeral for a friend tends to do. Which a lot of people like and I personally do, it shows that if you are in a situation that your not the only one and others go through it.
