Disadvantages: a couple of dodgy tracks

I was given this as a present and I was really impressed! On face value I thought it would be the usually compilation CD with a few good tunes and then a lot of fillers especially on the third disc but I was quite happily proved wrong! There are a few tracks which I wasn't familiar with but even they have turned out to be good tunes. The CD does feature a lot of the chart classics that everyone remembers (Ultra Nate, Robyn S, Ce Ce Penistone, Uban ...
...since 1994 (Jinny, Mory Kante). Its a good mix of really popular chart hits and not so commercially successful club classics. There are also a few tracks which are not the usual mixes which helps to keep it quite fresh. I thought it was excellent value and would recommend it. ...Disc One's stand out favourites for me include Storm's Time To Burn, Cosmic Gate's Fire Wire, IIO's Rapture, Angelic's It's My Turn (Angelic being Amanda, wife of DJ Judge Jules), an amazing Tiesto remix of Delirium's Silence, and one of my all-time favourite tunes, Sandstorm by Darude. This collection of singles and their b-sides sums up the extremes the career of Prince has gone to. The singles all have hit written all over them but the b-sides leave you bored as he goes through the motions churning out bog standard r&b / pop. From the pure pop hits like Let's Go Crazy, 1999, Raspberry Beret and much of the later more smutty stuff like Cream, Kiss * Sexy Mother F****r could get even your disabled Granny twitching.
