Teairra Mari was born in Detroit, Michigan on 2 December 1987. When she was 13, she was signed with K.I.S.S Productions, and spent all of her time in the studio writing songs and working with different producers. Big Mike, who took Teairra under his wing, released ...

When Teairra turned 16, Big Mike thought that Teairra was ready for a proper career in the music business, so he introduced her to many label execs.
