This is Thee Glitz!
Advantages: a classic album Disadvantages: not to everyones taste
Felix Da Housecat aka Felix Stallings Jr. is one of the most influential people in dance music and certainly one of the most talented. Music always played a huge role in his life. Growing up in Detroit in the 1970s, his father who was a saxophonist instilled a love of music in Felix, especially soul and funk like Stevie Wonder. During the 80s he started to develop a big interest for house music, listening to the pioneers of house music such as Farley ... ...music tracks at the age of 14! He was also in an R'n'B band and during his two years at university in America's Deep South he made some hiphop. He hated his days at college there and so he dropped out, returning home to his beloved Detroit. He studied Audio Engineering at Columbia College, which would prove to be invaluble in his career.
DJ Pierre an old friend invited Felix on a trip to London. It was the early 90s and dance music was just beginning ...

Melodic soulful house
Advantages: chilled, melodic, soulful Disadvantages: sometimes lack of link between previous and next track on album
You're at a bar for an after-work drink, some seductive female voice wafts over bongo infused chilled-out beats and you wish you knew what type of music it was or where to get your hands on it. You consider running to the bar to ask what the song is, but frankly you are just too embarrassed at looking a bit nerdy...so you stand there, nodding appreciately, drink in hand, hoping to hear it again in the future. Well this is one cool "bar" esque album ... ...worked with the likes of Miguel Migs (another of my fav DJs ), Blue Six and who also do the Carte Blanche stuff...If you've heard any of that and you like your chilled-out less commercial housey stuff and prefer things most others wouldn't have heard before, then this is definitely up your street. It's slow, melodic, gently upbeat and very eclectic. It's not harsh on the ears but is perfect for background music to a dinner party, or setting the mood ...

In at the deep end? I don't think so
Advantages: Excellent tracks, new and refreshing music style Disadvantages: Some tracks are a bit similar
*Intro*
In At The Deep End is the title of the debut album by Roll Deep, the group which are most well-known for bringing you Wiley and the mecury music prize winner Dizzee Rascal. The East-London based group has been around for many years, mainly releasing underground work when the likes of Dizzee Rascal and Wiley were still part of the group, before they had broke off to do their own thing. This album is seen as being long-overdue, and is their ... ...a vocalist (names and cartoon-pictures in the album booklet), and upon listening In At The Deep End, it seems as if it's a near-perfect mix. The majority of the tracks feature special guests doing their bit on the records too, adding a bit more quality to the album. The style of the music has to be labelled as grime and according to the online encyclopaedia 'Wikipedia' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grime) the definition of grime is "a musical offshoot ...

How Did We Get From Jamaica To Snowflakes One Song After The Nex?
Advantages: Lots of big tunes Disadvantages: Nothing specific
“Snowflakes” was released as the first Christmas album from the R&B singer Toni Braxton. Released in 2001, it finds her mixing in a range of tunes which have her taking on familiar tunes that all know from this time as well as some original compositions. It is noted for being recorded at a time when she was newly married and was expecting her first child. 1.“Holiday Celebrate” The album opens up with a track that shows that in this album we are about ... ...lts of effort put into it in order to make it sound much more than your average, quickly-thrown-together Christmas album as we get thoughtful production that mixes in the contemporary R&B trends with the Christmas-y themes for a big opener that I can't find any faults with. **Five Stars** 2.“Christmas In Jamaica” As things move on, we see there here we get what was the second album from the record and a joint that has her linking up with the Dancehall ...
