r&b= rythem and blues Advantages: None Disadvantages: this has never been r&b this is soulful rap it has never been r&b. i may only be young but my mam is into r&b and this is not it. this is the dictionar definition "Main Entry: rhythm and blues Function: noun : popular music typically including elements of blues and African-American folk music and marked by a strong beat and simple chord structure " Im sorry to sound so negative but i was just given this as a gift and i am so annoyed. is this worth being called a platinum collection?? R&B Collection 2009 - all the hits! Advantages: Comprehensive round up of the big tunes of 2008 Disadvantages: No beyonce! shock, and some horrible non-R&B on CD2 ...the flavor de jour, and R&B Collection 2009 (As it is oddly entitled) features a round up of all the tracks that did the business in yes, 2008. What we have is a nicely packaged, although the cover is a little bog standard, 2 CD set with a bonus DVD featuring 15 music videos. This will undoubtedly set this one apart from a lot of the field. But more importantly on a compilation such as this one, how does the track listing measure up! I will now take ... ...One of the biggest all-guy R&B acts to hit the US this year was 'The Dream' and 2 of their big hits of 2008, Falsetto and Baby featuring LL Cool J both appear towards the end of the first 20. Welcome inclusions. As well as the understated and beautiful 'Way That I love You' from Ashanti. Moving onto CD 2, another 20 tracks with no particular thought process to their placings. A collection of immense songs! Advantages: songs from the past as well as present Disadvantages: a couple of not-so-good songs ...information about the album R&B the Collection 2007 is a compilation album filled with 41 massive R&B tracks both from the past and the present. It was released in 2007, obviously lol, by Universal Music TV, a division of Universal Music Operations Limited. There are 2 CD's, the first with 21 tracks and the second with 20, which altogether make one album I would definitely recommend. CD One Track Listings 1.Timbaland ft. One republic - ... ...This is the price of R&B The collection 2007 at several major retailers: Woolworths - £12.97 Play.com - £11.99 101cd.com - £10.95 My personal opinion My personal opinion about R&B the collection 2007 is that it is an awesome album, certainly worth the £11 RRP you will pay for it.
