Advantages: Good mix of tracks from trance & house genre Disadvantages: a bit cheesy at times
I've always listened to the ministry of sound albums so i wasn't suprised when i bought it after it was first released. After a good listen to it, i thought there was a good mix of tracks spanning across trance & house, even the odd cheese as well. I really enjoy my house & trance music so needed to buy a cd that suited my music needs. As there were several cd's out at the time, i took a gamble and picked it out as i usually do. i wasn't disappointed.

CD1 has more of a chilled out laid back summer vibe. It's slightly funkier near the end but it's not particularly upbeat so in dance terms it's close to easy listening. But how easy is it to listen to some half decent tracks being murdered?
The first few tracks are relatively inoffensive to the ear but the pain begins around track 7 where Marcella Woods' ... ...appreciate it. The bad mash ups by far outweigh the good, and the bad ones leave a lasting impression. Add to that the scattering of dodgy mixes and you've got yourself a typical night out at the local 'meat market' nightclub. This would be a perfect CD for the kind of people who think they like dance music but really just want a good old sing along to something upbeat. Right where do I start with this review? This has got to be the best compilation CD on the planet for being both a chill out CD when played at a low volume but yet a big tunes CD that just makes you want to party when cranked. I can't fault the compilation at any point, whether it's the time of day to the mood I'm in. this compilation is a cracker to wake up to or even to fall asleep to. Here is a track listing:-
