The King is Back Advantages: Old school beats Disadvantages: Nothing! I think this album is great, really like the old school hip hop. A couple of tracks are quite self indulgent, but most are really good, the first track released (give me what you got) is one for the summer and Lost ones is definately worth checking out, even for people who aren't hardcore fans. The cover is like 3D so depending on whether you get a green or red case you get a different cover which is a nice bonus! A turning point Advantages: amazing history behind the songs and great music. Disadvantages: none at all. This cd in my opinion was a great turing point in eminems career. This cd changed him from fame to super stardum. In this cd he attacks everyone who critersized his first album "the slim shady lp" and famously his ex wife Kim and his mum. The fact that he has chosen to use his real name for the title of this his seccond album shows that this album is alot more personal to him. This album is alot darker than his first as the only upbeat song there ... ...the only reason he wrote this was to have a radio friendly song on the album. This album reached number one on the charts; billbord 200, top R'n'B/hip-hop albums, top canadian albums and top internet albums. This cd was a beak through in rap and has continued to be sucsessful even to this day. A Truly Addictive Album? Advantages: Great Voice, Some great Tracks. Disadvantages: A few weak/boring songs. *INTRO* The name 'Truth Hurts' came from Dr Dre. Shari (AKA Truth Hurts) is from St Louis, and I would describe her as a relatively unknown urban vocalist.
