Disadvantages: Such a great album, follow up albums were doomed to be poor in comparison

Remedy is Simon Ratcliffe and Felix Buxton AKA Basementjaxx's debut album. Basment Jaxx have more recently released their greatest hits album, featuring all their greatest hits, but if you were considering to purchase any basement Jaxx album, I would most defiantly recommend it to be this album, 'Remedy'. In most recent album releases by Basement Jaxx', they've progressed and developed a different sound to the album Remdy, a more party pop energetic ...
...towards this sound more recently, Remedy adopts a better, laid back late night sound. Tracks released off this album include 'Red alert', 'Rendez vu' and 'yo yo'. Red alert adopts a more dance orientated sound, however a desired one since it is one of the stronger tracks on the album. John Marsh's velvet tones are back. This is a must have , especially those who loved The Beloved in their late teens/early twenties. They've grown with us and what a result.
