Disadvantages: One or two slightly weaker tracks

There have been so many dance acts over the last ten years, I find it hard to remember any of them. In fact, dance music is so risible nowadays, clubs like Ministry and the Ibiza super-clubs must have a hard time filling their dancefloors. Review of Forever Faithless (The Greatest Hits) - Faithless

Stone me, this is good.

Advantages: Best British soul offering for some time.
Disadvantages: Not everones taste.

The Soul Sessions was Joss Stone's debut album. Released in 2003 when Joss was only just 17 years old. Incredible in itself for such a mature debut at such an early age, what seems even more stunning to me was that this soul inspired album is by a British artiste. I am having so much fun converting my CD's to itunes, listening to albums that have been neglected. The artwork both on the cover of the CD case and on the CD itself is pretty retro, ...
...the respected publication 'Mojo': "The soul sessions is a revelation". Many of the songs are not her own, being penned in the sixties by artistses such as Betty Wright, who agreed to work with Joss on this CD, another shock to me, American soul legends collaborating with a 16 year old English girl, wow, they must have seen her talent. Awesome.

Advantages: Brilliant songs, well mixed, good mix of tempo.
Disadvantages: Heavy lyrics.

...of this is the song no roots, as this talks about a child who's father has just left for war, not the most cheery topic), this though does not at all detract from the overall quality of the album. I hope that everyone listens to this as it is definately one of the best albums I have ever listened to. ...

Review of No Roots [ECD] - Faithless

jay sean - u kicked it!!

Advantages: Fab new(ish) artist - top beats! nice album :)
Disadvantages: could be slightly more upbeat - & a couple of the songs sound the same

this is a really good album :) really fresh n new stuff.. im loving the asian music blended with the rnb voice - really original (well apart from the other new asian acts up and coming!! like raghav).. i can see why jay sean left studying medicine for a career in music! - it's worked out well for him.. apart from got my eyes on you - which most people have heard - stolen is really good as are a few other songs.. nice to listen to if you're just chilling ...
...massive rnb fan and however hard i try - i cant compare jay sean to the big rnb acts out there (well the old rnb stuff that i love eg. 112, jagged edge etc).. he's good but it falls more on the 'pop' wagon than the rnb -- but it's still a top album :) ...
