19 is "Right As Rain" Advantages: Good Music, Good Lyrics Disadvantages: The style may get a little repetitive, but that isn't too bad. ...I've come to see that 19 is one of the best albums that I own. Adele's vocal range is amazing and utterly beautiful. Every song has meaning. The lyrics are amazing. Some people may say that Adele is the new Amy Winehouse, but from my point of view, she's better. Put this record on! ...the fire... Advantages: Has a pretty front cover... Disadvantages: Delivery isn't up to the standard it should be... AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! This is one of the most frustrating albums I have ever had to endure... It lives off the reputation of a couple of songs, and frankly, is a dissapointment, and this is coming from someone who didn't have high expectations to start with! It is a weird mixture of chilled out music, mixed with a couple of 'up-beat' tracks, mixed with fillers (Tracks just put there to make the album long enough to call and album). She regularly overstretches ... ...she just does not sing well enough to sing the songs she writes, a couple of her songs have excellent lyrics, but she just can't deliver them to make their full potential. Maybe she should switch to just writing songs and letting others deliver them properly. You may think I am being harsh, well maybe I am a little... Advantages: Oirginal Disadvantages: Inconsistent In 2006 came an unexpected success as Cee-Lo Green (who found fame as an MC in the Atlanta Hip Hop group Goodie Mob, before having a solo career as a Soul singer) and Danger Mouse (the producer who in addition to these styles, has worked in a range of alternative genres), came to release “St. Elsewhere” as their debut album, going under the name Gnarles Barkley. 1. “Go-Go Gadget Gospel” The album gets underway with a lively composition as the duo ... ...from the very start of the thing by coming up with a tune whihch uses a Hip Hop-based Go-Go backing to support Cee-Lo as he sings in a style which reflects his Gospel past too to come up with one of the most exciting tracks you could possibly think up.
